Last Chance Stampede and Rodeo
Montana towns are often defined by their rodeos. Ask any Montanan what they are looking forward to this summer, and they will probably mention one of the many rodeos or fairs across the state. The Last Chance Stampede and Fair is a highlight of summer in Helena, Montana. Wednesday of fair week features a stick horse rodeo and a country concert. Friday is always Tough Enough to Wear Pink night, and Saturday features a stampede parade in downtown Helena! The stock for the rodeo is provided by world-renowned Kessler Championship Rodeo, from right here in town, and five-time PRCA Rodeo Announcer of the Year, Wayne Brooks will call the action in the arena. Each year, the Northstar Carnival joins the entertainment lineup with carnival rides, games, and concessions. Check out the Exhibit halls to see a variety of community displays, local 4-H projects, and more! Exhibits in the barn remind us of our agricultural roots and provide a great way to spend an afternoon with friends and family. Join us in the 4-H barn Saturday morning for a live auction. Pull on your boots, dust off your cowboy hat and join us at the Lewis and Clark County Fairgrounds!
