Tap Into Ennis 2026 is one of the Madison Valley's most anticipated annual events, bringing together craft beverages, live music, food, and community spirit in the heart of Ennis, Montana. Scheduled for May 16th at Lions Club Park, the festival offers a lively and welcoming atmosphere for both locals and visitors to enjoy.
The event runs from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM and highlights Montana's craft beverage scene with beer, spirits, and wine tastings. Admission is $30 per person and includes a tasting cup, two full pours, and unlimited samples. Guests can also enjoy live music throughout the afternoon, along with a variety of food vendors offering options to complement the drinks.
Beyond the food and entertainment, Tap Into Ennis is known for its strong sense of community, bringing people together while supporting local businesses and producers. With strong attendance in past years and growing popularity, the 2026 event is expected to continue that tradition, offering a fun and memorable experience in a scenic Montana setting.
Celebrating the 90th Annual Fourth of July with Tradition, Pride, and Western Flair!
The town of Ennis, nestled in the heart of Madison County and surrounded by the Madison, Gravelly, and Tobacco Root mountain ranges, will come alive for its 90th annual Fourth of July celebration—a long-standing tradition that blends small-town charm with vibrant Western energy.
Festivities begin at 10:00 AM with the "Hometown Proud" parade along Main Street, featuring local businesses, vintage tractors, classic cars, and community groups. Following the parade, the Ennis Lions Club hosts a picnic at Peter T's Park, while a Veterans Memorial Ceremony takes place at noon at Veterans Memorial Park to honor those who have served.
The highlight of the celebration is the Ennis Rodeo, with the final round starting at 4:00 PM at the Ennis Rodeo Grounds. Competitors from across the Northwest take part in events such as barrel racing, bronc riding, and bull riding, drawing enthusiastic crowds and creating a lively, festive atmosphere with food vendors and local booths.
As the day winds down, many attendees head to nearby Virginia City for an evening fireworks display (weather permitting), closing out a day filled with tradition, community pride, and celebration.
Fly Fishing and Outdoor Festival
The Ennis Fly Fishing & Outdoor Festival is an annual summer event that celebrates the region's renowned fly fishing culture along the Madison River. Held at Peter T's Park, a centrally located and easily accessible venue in downtown Ennis that allows both visitors and locals to gather in a scenic, walkable setting.
The festival takes place over the course of August 15, 2026, Throughout the day, attendees can enjoy a range of experiences including fly-casting and fly-tying demonstrations, educational presentations from industry experts, and hands-on casting clinics designed for all skill levels.
In addition to the instructional and demonstration aspects, the event also features vendor booths offering fishing gear, artwork, and outdoor products, along with live music, food vendors, and family-friendly activities. The festival is typically free to attend and is designed to provide a full day of education, entertainment, and community engagement in the heart of the Madison Valley.
2026 hunter's Feed
The 40th Annual Hunter's Feed in Ennis will take place on Friday, October 23, 2026, from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM on Main Street. Held each year on the Friday before rifle season, this beloved event celebrates wild game cuisine, local culture, and the area's strong outdoor traditions.
Throughout the afternoon, attendees can sample a variety of wild game dishes prepared by local chefs and enthusiasts, with competitions for Best Chili, Best Non-Chili, Most Unusual Dish, and Best Overall Entry. The evening continues at Willie's Distillery with award announcements at 5:15 PM, followed by the Critter Call Competition from 5:30 to 7:30 PM. Live music will take place later in the evening at the Silver Dollar and the Longbranch.
Additional festivities include food and drink specials, such as the Longbranch's all-day elk burger, along with shopping events, raffles, and promotions throughout town, making it a lively and well-rounded community celebration.
