Willie’s Distillery is a small batch distillery located in Ennis, Montana, on the banks of the fabled Madison River. Willie’s mission is to make World Class Spirits for World Class Individuals. The distillery uses fresh mountain water straight from the source, and grains and ingredients from small Montana farms and growers ranging from a local apiary to the barley fields of the Montana Highline. Each bottle is handled and filled with care. Stop by to taste a specially crafted cocktail. This is truly a local gem and you can find gifts to take back to your friends and family.
Yellowstone is the world's FIRST national park! On March 1, 1872, Yellowstone became the first national park for all to enjoy the unique hydrothermal and geologic features. Within Yellowstone's 2.2 million acres, visitors have unparalleled opportunities to observe wildlife in an intact ecosystem, explore geothermal areas that contain about half the world’s active geysers, and view geologic wonders like the Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone River. Gates typically open at 8am and close at 9pm.
Along with the caves this three thousand plus acre park has many other recreational opportunities. There are two visitor centers, a cafe, gift shop, two picnic areas, and river access to the famed and historic Jefferson River. The Jefferson River offers many opportunities for canoeing and fishing. The park also offers features over ten miles of hiking trails to enjoy the wildlife and beautiful scenery nearby. The state park elevation is forty-three hundred feet and the cavern entrance stands at fifty-three hundred feet.

Only 18 miles from Ennis, Virginia City is worth a visit. There is no doubt about that. While meandering the historic streets, please be sure to stop into the many boutiques, restaurants, watering holes, and candy shop. There's so much to experience, see, eat and drink. It's also known as a "Living Ghost Town!" We recommend the open-air bus tour of the city that includes a stop on Boot Hill. This is where five rogue road agents were buried by the Vigilantes. Don't forget to check out the walking tour map found on the chamber's website.
If you've been hankering for a movie on vacation, or just want to get in out of the sun, head to The Madison Theatre. It is located in downtown Ennis and hosts first run movies. There is a snack bar, popcorn, sodas, and a renovated theater. Enjoy the big screen in Ennis, Montana.
Being in the center of one of the world’s best fly fishing areas, the Ennis Fish Bowl provides an alternative for families and friends to get together to bowl in a retro bowling facility that has been upgraded to the most modern bowling experience. The facility still has real wood lanes, and runs 1963 Brunswick A2 machines while you enjoy absolutely modern scoring and entertainment systems. Six lanes provide you with personal local service, and quality food while you bowl. This business has been a central gathering place for over 55 years!
Soak and eat in the Water of the Gods, Montana's geothermal wonder. Just a 30 minute drive from Ennis, Montana. The hot spring and garden are on the ancestral land of Salish and Shoshone-Bannock peoples land. Guests can rent the spring privately or go during the public soaking hours.
